Sophie Yorkston is the AIMSS Clinical Research Manager, and is a biomedical scientist with an extensive background clinical trials and investigator-lead research both in Australia and overseas. Sophie has most recently come from a role as a clinical research associate for a global CRO, and has formerly been a clinical research coordinator, so has a thorough understanding of all aspects of clinical trial conduct.

Sophie has managed programs of research and supported grant application activities in previous university roles. In addition, Sophie has also been a clinical scientist and administrator in health environments. Having worked within health systems, CROs, research institutes and universities, Sophie brings a wealth of research experience and understanding of clinical settings to her new role as the AIMSS Clinical Research Manager.
