The Bone: Surgical program is led by Associate Professor Phong Tran. This is a clinical research program based at one of the largest orthopaedic departments in Victoria.

The Western Health department of orthopaedic surgery performs over 3000 orthopaedic operations are each year and conducts over 24000 clinic appointments. 

Our broad range of clinical services include adult and paediatric musculoskeletal conditions Including soft tissue, joint conditions and trauma. Our research is clinically focused and aims at improving the outcome of our patients.
